Above is a link to a story about women trying to get equal rights to go topless. The question is.....Does anyone really mind if women start walking the streets topless? I don't mind if they don't wear anything as long as they don't mind me staring at times.

I doubt women will go around topless all the time, at least the ones worth looking at. Anyway I think this applies more to beaches and breast feeding.

i think its important to notice that the people who wish to do this are in still quiet young and haven't yet realised that gravity plays a major role in whether a female goes topless or not.
if women see a topless bloke with a good body they will look but not leer, where as if we see a topless woman with a good body we can not help but leer.
he only thing that this will create is jealousy between women themselves and the argument/ divorce rate to increase.
but otherwise bring it on, equality is a good thing

I'll probably get burned at the stake for this one, but...I think it should be allowed. Whats good for the goose is good for the gander, as they say (in reverse, in this case). This would, however, open up the floor for a lot of naysayers in regards to "women of size" (not just in their chest, mind you). My thoughts on this is..if you're comfortable enough in your own skin to show off your *ahem*..extra bits of flesh (in some cases..large chunks of flesh) AND don't mind public taunting/staring and harassment..then by all means. I've seen MANY large (and I mean...LARGE) MEN parading around without a shirt on in public, and nobody really seems to care (the guys didn't seem to care either). Seeing women topless would certainly be a culture-shock in any country not used to it, but like all things...people get used to them over time and from exposure (no pun intended, lol).

They should be able to do anything a male does. Never could understand the need for a double a standard.
