ok me and my fiance have been hoping for a baby for a couple of months now. i try not to think about it to much and just keep trying. i am now 14 days late and have took 2 hpt's (7th nov-today) but both negative. these are my symptoms.
* missed period (obvious)
* very sensitive nipples/darkening of nipples
* feeling sick after eating/drinking
* tiredness all the time
* constant headaches
* feeling sick to normal everyday smells
* bloating
* light cramping on/off
* enlargement of breast
* now beginning to get backache.
my doctors also dont do blood test, they do urine test. should i wait a little longer or go to my doctors. my sister was 3 months pregnant when she finally found out with both her kids.

You have a lot of pregnancy symptoms, but home pregnancy tests are very reliable.
Are your cycles normally very regular? I guess I would try to act as if you are pregnant -- watch your diet and take your vitamins. Good luck!

Your doctors won't do a blood test in any situation? That doesn't sound very up-to-speed :S
Your symptoms could very well indicate pregnancy, but the only way to know for sure (especially since we tend to notice things that may or may not mean anything or even exist when we want to be pregnant!) is to test. For now, I would treat your body as you would if you were pregnant, and continue to test every few days. A test should definitely be accurate by now, though.
Can you have your doctor check your uterus? They can usually tell if it's enlarged upon examination. Good luck :)

With my third child the hpts kept coming back negative, but I KNEW I was pregnant. The doctor did an ultrasound and found a sac with no baby. 2 weeks later another ultrasound said...oh yep there it is. My son is 8 now. Some people just take longer to build up enough hormone to register. Take good care of yourself and try to be patient. Wait one more week and take another test...if still negative and no period I would find a DR. that will do a blood test and ultrasound. Most women do know their bodies! Good Luck to you!

The urine tests doctors do are basically the same as a HPT so if thats all they do dont waste your money. Sounds like you could be pregnant I had all those symptoms too and my 1st positive HPT wasnt until I was over 2 week late, closer to 3. Wait off a bit but treat it like you are pregnant so no alcohol and take it easy.
Good Luck

Well you have all the symptoms of pregnancy. I would wait anothor week or so, and take the test again, I can't see why you would have the symptoms if your not pregnant. But I would try to test again later on. I wish you luck on finding out soon.

you should be able to request that a blood test be done, if not I would find a doctor that would do it. thats would be the best way to find out if you are pregnant or not, but it does sound like you are pregnant so you doctor NEEDS to do something!! you need to be getting prenatle care if you are indeed pregnant!! Maybe you can even ask them to do an ultrasound to check for pregnancy. I hope something works for you!! Best of luck!!!

it sounds to me like you are probably pregnant! Congrats, go to the doctor, ask for a blood test (or choose a different doc who is willing to do one) some women take longer for the HCG levels to build up and if you are pregnant than you need to start getting prenatal care straight away.
