I've lived in a lot of different places in my life and have learned one thing: one place is as good as another. Wherever you go, there will be pros and cons, and the cons usually outweigh the pros. Ultimately happiness comes down to employment and relationships. So whatever you do, make sure you find a job there FIRST, or it will be a pain in the ***. Good luck!

Well, you have to put on paper what you really want in a city or State. Do you want more natural vegetation and less manmade structures? Do you want more lakes and rivers? Do you want multi-ethnic or bi-ethnic? Do you want a warmer climate? Where would you like to retire?

Ask yourself all of these questions and more. You might decide that you want to stay in Mid USA but not Illinois. You might want the beautiful green South but do not know where. Keep brainstorming, for in the process of doing so an answer will automatically develope.

North, South, East, West....all are good directions....

All depends on what you're looking for....

Pick a direction and aim that way....

Just remember the grass always seems greener on the other side...be sure to weigh pros/cons on moving to another location so you don't regret that move in a year or two.
