I've always been confused about which genres of music I prefer. I prefer music ranging from progressive rock to heavy metal. These are the bands I like (ones in caps I like most):

Korn= Nu-Metal
Tool= Alternative Metal or Alt. Rock
Disturbed= Hard Rock
Mudvayne= Alternative Metal
Drowning Pool= Hard Rock
Rammstein= German "weird" Metal....Du Hast?
Do you see a trend here? You are cool with saying you like Heavy Metal or Alt. Metal....but labels are stupid, so just say you like good music!!

I do love Pantera & Rob Zombie, as of the other bands you listed, I've heard of them but not familiar with the music (I'm an 80's metal fan) -Slayer, Sepultura, Metallica, Megadeth, Ozzy, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Dio, Skid Row, Guns n' Roses, Motley Crue, Kiss.....(I could go on)

Yeah you're right dude Metal/Rock,I listen to alot of the same but mostly metal,I just say "Metal,Hardcore,some Rock"
because I'm really strict on labels ya know my music is my life
