In this world of corruption: who can you REALLY trust?

Kids are being abused by their parents
Friends are back stabbing each other
Priests and ministers are raping children
and the gov't doesn't know what it is doing

so who can you really trust?

(please don't say God, I'm talking about a real life human being)

There is as much good in the world...or more than there is bad. That can be very hard to see sometimes, for all of us.

It takes a while to find people you can trust. Sometimes we find nobody we can trust. Sometimes our trusted friends change and become untrustworthy.

I'm going to correct your statement to one that's a bit more accurate.

SOME Kids are being abused by their parents
SOME SO CALLED Friends are back stabbing each other
SOME Priests and ministers are raping children
and NO governments know what they are doing.

It means we all have to work all the harder at not giving up on our humanity. What's interesting is that you don't want to trust in God and yet your personal standards are those of someone who believes. Don't be angry at God for the cruelty of Mankind.

It's human beings that murder, rape, abuse and lie....not God.

You are young and you are seeing the truth...but you're only seeing a small part of existence. I'd love to say that the more you see of the world, the less corrupt it seems but that's not true. You will see as much falseness and corruption anywhere in the world but you will also see good.

Who can you trust?

You look carefully for real friends and learn to trust yourself and your judgement. Then you'll know that you have to judge trustworthiness on the merit of the individual not a whole category of people.

In that case I'd say you could put your trust in Jesus or Buddha but listen to their words not the words of politically motivated ministers.

Too bad you don't want hear it because your heart is already hardend twords the Only One that can Protect You and Your family from harm. If you think someone can save you besides Jesus Christ your sadly mistaken. You just don't want any change in your life because your happy in the miserable situation your in and your blameing the Lord . You don't need any help except knowledge. I tend to trust most people that I don't get a creepy feeling about until they prove me wrong. And I tend not to get too hurt when they do since their loss of my friendship is much worse than anything they could do to me
