It doesn't sound like birth "control" to me. It sounds like it's out of control. If you don't want to get pregnant, be more diligent. If you're worried about being pregnant, get a pregnancy test or go to the doctor. Condom use is a good plan because it prevents not just pregnancy, but also the sharing of some diseases.

Depends on when she began her birth control if it was recently then that might account for why she is late if she's only late by a day I wouldn't stress to much. Just have her wait a week or 2 and take a test if her period doesn't come. You should always use at least 2 forms of birth control if you want to avoid getting pregnant pulling out does not work.

If you miss pills you put yourself at risk. As women, when we get birth control the doctor explains all of this and she even give you an information sheet just incase you forget. The best thing I can tell you is take a home pregnancy test. If you are unsure about the results take a visit to your local planned parenthood. But I must suggest the use of condoms if you are not going to be religious about taking your pills. 1 in 8 women get pregant on the pill, think about those odds then miss a pill.

First you should really get on a schedule taking your pills. Second you should already know that BC's are only 99% effective, as in, 1 in 100.... those odds can catch up to you very quickly. Onto the situation though. If you are over 3 days past due I would take a pregnancy test, spotting or not. If its negative, depending on your age, athleticism, stress level, young ladies can "skip" their cycle. Follow the instructions on the preg-test, GET A GOOD ONE, Hope it helps, I am 3rd year pharmacy student if it helps. and umm...condom...I am married, wife on BC still use a condom, its just smart.

i would def go visit a doctor. since you are aware that you're skipping pills you should also wear a condom speaking from personal experience i used to skip my pills and when i remember doulbe or triple up on bc pills :( sad huh. but it caused my period to be all out of wack so don't worry you MAY not be pregnant or anything. but def go see your doc and always wear a condom if you're slipping on those pills girl :) hope everything is OK!

Wow, if you are having sex you MUST remember to take them and to take them as close to the same time each day as possible.

You could be pregnant, or it could be stress, or it could be because of missed pills.

Take a pregnancy test and set your alarm to go off when its time to take your pills, and always bring them wherever you go so you are not freaking when your alarm goes off.

It is perfectly normal to not bleed, your periods are going to be reduced down to about 4 a year.
