I was wondering if you happened to get Pregnant while on the pill, would you still have your withdrawl bleed or would you miss your period just like you would if you weren't on the pill? I"ve been on the pill for almost 6 years, I take it religiously and use condoms. I'm on my period now and its normal, I was just wondering if the pill would affect that? Thanks!

No you would not have a period while pregnant. Usually not anyhow, but it's possible. Likely after taking the pill for 6 years you may not even produce an egg until you get off it for about 6 months.

You'd miss your period because the blood is going to help nourish your child. I'm almost positive of this.

You could still have your period and be pregnant. It happens to plenty of women.
