If you had ever been raped, you wouldn't even put these two in the same hemisphere....

Rapists are the lowest of all life forms (if you can even call them a life form).

WOW. Did you just add that a rapist only affects one person?

I can tell you from personal experience that the man that raped and beat me did not only affect me.

Well... I can kill someone in self defense for raping me, I can't do so for racism. I suppose, the one that is easier to do something about would be the rapist. I think rape does more damage regardless of the numbers it effects. If a rapist gets away however, they could have more victims. I say rapist is worse because they do more damage.

Aditionally, rape has been a problem regardless of it being against the law. Racism can be limited by laws against discrimination. So to sum it up, you can put an end to racism in time. No matter what you do, there will always be rapists and it only takes one time for them to have their full and terrible effect on at least one victim.

If the racist keeps their racism from being violently acted out, then the rapist is worst. However, racism is the cause of so many horrible murders- MLK, Jr., those 3 girls in the church, the civil rights workers in Mississippi, countless lynchings all come to mind. But "non-violent" racism can't come near the horror and depravity of rape. And rape does not only happen to women; men can be raped by either sex as well. Rape leaves more unseen scars and is much more common than society will admit. So here we have two circles of Hell, and who's to say which is the worse?

Both have a basis in hate.
Hate of someone different. Tragically sad, unfortunately true.

We're all in this together, no need of any of this. Neither a racist nor a rapist is going to make a difference, make anything better.

Destruction is the way of the racist.
Destruction is the way of the rapist.

as for your question, I could not decide between the two of these insidious evils. Both have taken hate to very personal levels. To cause as much pain as possible.

Rapist, by far. You can ignore ignorant racist people but a rapist can change a person forever. Victims of racism can take a deep breath and shrug it off. Rape victims have to live with that violation for the rest of their lives.

Rapist is way worse.

Racism is born of ignorance, rape of I don't know what exactly but something damn worse. Racism can be ignored, and at least you can console yourself that the racist is a dumbass. Rape is not like that.

By the way a rapist will not only affect his victim for the rest of their life, and also the victims family and friends.

For me, it would depend on which one was acting on their impulses. If a rapist thought about it all the time and never did it then i would prefer him over a hate mongering racist who acts out violently against minorities. On the other hand, a closet racist would be better than a rapist who rapes. Either way, they should all be put on an island with no food or water. To starve to death slowly in each other's company still seems to good though.

It's clear you are not a woman if you even have to ask, but I can see how a guy could boil it down like that.

Yes, both may harbour nasty, vile thoughts. But a rapist by definition is one who has perpetrated a horrendous crime, almost always against women. If you cannot comprehend the true horror of this crime, I suggest you make an effort to do so. Just PLEASE do not treat this as a voyeuristic thrill, this is an almost soul-robbing experience that no woman (well, no human) should ever experience.

Think about that for a second-- a racist just has uninformed opinions, and most likely will not be harmful to others. A rapist, however, always does harm, given the definition of rape.
