I recently just got a new job. Well about a week or two after I got the new job, I found out I was pregnant. In Tennessee, I have read that you must have worked for the company for 12 months in order to be eligible for maternity leave. Since obviously, I won't have worked there 12 months before my baby is due, does this mean I am ineligible for FMLA? Do I have any other options?

You cannot avail of the maternity leave but will be granted a leave but it has no pay since you have not worked for the required period under the law.

You're right ~ you are not covered by FMLA. You're only option is to speak with your employer once you feel comfortable disclosing your pregnancy.
Most employers (decent ones at least!) will give you 6 weeks off unpaid even though you are not covered by FMLA.
