It means "owned."
It was a typo that eventually caught on with video game nerds everywhere!

Pwn is a slang term that implies domination and/or humiliation of a rival. It sprang from the similar term "owned" and is used primarily in the Internet gaming culture to taunt an opponent that has just been soundly defeated.

"Originally dates back to the days of WarCraft, when a map designer mispelled "Own" as "Pwn". What was originally supose to be "player has been owned." was "player has been pwned".
but i think of it as a step above owned. like, you can be owned but its worse if your pwned. [butthatsjustme]
