Have you tried one? You are typically linked, re-linked, and re-re-linked to yet another "survey" or to an advertiser's web site, and sometimes end up all the way back at your original survey. For every link you follow - congratulations! you just down-loaded enough spy ware to clog your PC's system up like mozzarella stick in a goose (most likely not very pretty). And after all that, rather than money, you're most likely going to get "entered in a drawing" or get some cheesy coupon to business people don't really go to.
Don't bother.

Most are scams.But they are some that pay well.Look around you can tell the good ones from the bad.

you really think someone would pay you 5000$ to answer vapid, useless questions?

that would be like earning a salary answering questions here (fire!)
