What are the social consequences of continued prejudice and discrimination in America? How can prejudice and discrimination be reduced?

Somewhere along the line, someone got an idea that [insert race here] were less than human and began to spread it about.

Those of a like mind "agreed' with the contention, even though there was insufficient eveidence to support it.

Adding to the problem was an inability of the race in question to overcome these stereotypes, no matter what they did

Some people don't feel equal until they are ahead.....Some people feel they are being discriminated against if they don't get way in everything.. If they don't get to be the boss they feel discriminated against.. They will think because they are not pampered and given a crown that they are not being treated equal....
Some people act like little children not getting every toy they see at the store... They are never satisfied either...The more they get the more they want....Give them an inch and they take a mile.
