Nonsense!!!!

Look at it this way...

We always use 100% of our brains we have, we just done use that 100% to its full capacity. this naturally depends upon our conception of what we define as use.

Even in science, its an imposibility to use 100% of anything. everything requires something inorder to function. this is caled residual or cost, if you like.

From what I have learned about the brain, I believe we use more than 10 percent. I know that I have read and even been told that he 10 percent thing is a whole myth. I don't think anyone truely knows how much we do use, but think of everything that our brain allows us to do? There are centers that help you control every body function from talking, to seeing, to writing.... Do research read about the brains functions and make your own conclusions, mine is that we use more than 10% but I am not saying that we use 100%.

You'd be surprised how little people use their brain! They rather be told what to do, how to do, and when to do! Most people need a "father figure" rather than thinking by themselves. It's too hard and too fearful to think, they don't know if it will be good, or simply lazy. As for you; just by asking, you show interest in knowing and thinking! As well as your percentage, you're not lazy minded and you're in phylo! You can watch documentary, read books of psy and phylo, hang out with more intelligent people, think about things that will carry your intelligence further on. Learn new things everyday, you can always study something new. The main thing is to think about your own stuff by yourself rather than have someone telling you the "how to?" and such... It seems like you're on the right path anyway! Good luck to you!

Thats at the invagination of the human's mind. All at the fold is the consiousness, and under states like subconsious atheletics are the deeper pockets. Most at evolution is the morphological adaptations like tree climbing and swingging and so on, running, fidhting but the rest in the modenr world is not evolved enough.

This is an old urban myth. The brain is actually the most energy-hungry organ in the body; weighing just 2% of your total body weight, it consumes about 20% of your calories. Such a power-hungry organ is fully active; there's no room for slacker neurons!

Let's see -- the goal here is to use the 10% of one's brain that is employed, to find connections to the other 90%....

Good Luck!

Yes, I understand it is true. However, this is the maximum... you and I may be using even less..... a positive view could be that this reserve of 90% may well be usable in future as we keep evolving... there is perhaps not much for us to do except to hope the best for our future generations.

Yes. It's true.
I don't think anyone can use 100% of their brains, if Einstein can't, i don't think you can either. none of us are able to.

You can be very smart and think you know a lot of things, but what's factual is factual.
