You know how MySpace shows a sent message as either SENT, READ or REPLIED? Is there a way to turn that off so you can read someones message but they dont know you did?

no can do unless you forward it but they would assume you read it..
.and i would just read the message and just delete it and also fo to trash and delete the evidence and prey that the sender doesnt get back to him/her

I don't think so. Personally I love that feature -- its really handy for weeding out the people that don't really care to talk to you :]
