it was GALE GILBERT
buckup on buffalo for 4 years and then went to san diego
and lost the very next year

Gale Gilbert only played the first and fourth Bills Super Bowls, so it wasn't him. He wasn't on the roster against the redskins and first cowboys SB.
Technically, he was on the team during the year, but left off the roster for 2 of those Super Bowl teams. Maybe Buffalo would have won one if they had left him on the roster for the Super Bowl.

I checked the 1989 Broncos and 1994 Chargers roster and did not spot anybody that was on the 1990-1993 Bills roster. I believe you are mistaken.
edit: Jeff's right! Gilbert was Bills 3rd string QB.

No NFL team has ever lost 5 super bowls in a row but the Buffalo Bills did loose 4 super bowls in a row. Not to mention that they lost one of them by a field goal... What a heartbreaker...

Did Mike Lodish play in SB 24 with Denver? I'm pretty sure he was on Buffalo's 4 losing teams.

Not in consecutive years, but Cornelius Bennett lost 5 Super Bowls (four with Buffalo and one with Atlanta).

i dont think that has happened to anyone
i know the bills have lost four in a row 1991-1994
but im almost 100 % sure no team has accomplished the unfortunate task of losing five super bowls in a row

why the hell would anyone blame him or any other players on the losing teams? every year there was only 53 players who were on a more successful team than this guy and everyone else was home watching because their teams werent good enough to make it to and lose the superbowl.
