Your computer will still connect to you router to say you have excellent signal.Somehow your not getting Internet to your router.Try resetting your modem.Unplug it and if it had a battery take it out and hook it all up again. That should fix your problem.Good Luck!:)

Although its saying it's connected but its not actually letting you browse the internet. Its a wireless configuration problem.

1. Make sure that you know what's your network name and password.
2. Try disconnecting and reconnecting to your network.
3. If its saying it's connected but its still not letting you browse the internet , you better need to contact your ISP if they are the ones who provided the modem / router that you are using.

First, you need to ensure that you're connected to your router. If you're connected to a neighbor's they may be using a security mechanism which prohibits anyone but them from using their Internet.

Once you verify that, check whether your computer has been assigned an IP Address. If it hasn't you may need to enable DHCP on your router, or manually configure it via your control panel. Consult your router documentation (or website) for more details.

Sigh. Setup the router IP as the GATEWAY for your devices.

That is what it is. Your GATEWAY to the Internet...
