None of the above. It was Spaniard against Spaniard - a political struggle, left wing verses right wing - with outside help on each side. Soviet Russia aided the left. Nazi Germany aided the right. It was a good place for Germany to try out their new war machine - especially the luftwaffe (air force).

This is hard but I think that I have it figured out. You said civil. According to the recent panic about immigration, Mexico and the United States are the same country now so I pick option two.
