Nowadays I would say it's underrated as there aren't all that many virgins left in the world due to all of the nonsense on TV and all of the sex advertisements and whatnot and peer pressure. People are losing their virginity for all of the wrong reasons nowadays.

It's severely over-rated.
Virgins are not special and should not be put on some sort of pedastal. I hate the holier-than-thou attitude that many of them have.
Once you lose your virginity, you are still the same person/

Under-rated!
No sex diseases, no pregnancy, no possibility of being a "slut/whore/etc." (however you define those!)
No HPV, and no bad history - this person had sex with me, then cheated/etc....
No long history of partners.
When you get married, you can feel confident giving your ALL!
No Kegel exercises/loose cooch!
