Will the Xbox 360 be released with an HD-DVD drive that comes standardto the console, not as an accessory?

Question

1. Does this information already exist and you can point me in that direction?
2. Is there a likely set number of months before they release an Xbox 360 that has the player?
3. Has microsoft already explained why they have chosen to not include it? Or include it in the future?

I seriously doubt that Microsoft would release ANOTHER Xbox 360 console with a built in HD-DVD drive. If Microsoft did that, Xbox 360 owners would be complaining about the price of it and it probably wouldn't sell anyways because millions of people already have a Xbox 360.


The reason why the PS3 costs more than the Xbox 360 now is quite obviously because of the built in Blu-Ray and because the PS3 uses Blu-Ray DVD's for games.

I've heard so Xbox 360 owners saying that they think the PS3 is overpriced (it's not overpriced) and if they think that now about the PS3, then they will think the same thing about an Xbox 360 with built in HD-DVD and they probably wont buy it unless the Xbox 360 used HD-DVD's for it's games also like the PS3 uses Blu-Ray DVD's for it's games.

The only thing Microsoft needs to do right now is fix the hardware problems for good with the Xbox 360.

i might get PS3 and Wii. 360 is fairly no longer so good as PS3 and such as you pronounced would not incorporate the HD rigidity. there will be little distinction in pics high quality for the two initially (countless ports) yet few years from now PS3's very appropriate skill will start to teach. examine out unique PS2 video games and those at present. Wii i might get in undemanding terms for exciting. that is incredibly low-fee yet different then the hot controller no longer plenty extra effective than GC. in case you could no longer locate the money for 2 consoles circulate with Sony - in my opinion they're are the destiny.
