He can't help it. It is who he is. A great man, a focused leader, a good role model to our youth.

ok, i'm going to take this one seriously for a change. Bush is not the best president ever. i know people like to spew useless hate and blame all their problems on him but really, far from the worst. really, if i were to rank them, he'd probably in the lower 20-30%, 100% being the best prez and 0 being the worst. i wont go into who all would be better and worse, it's beside the point. his biggest mess is, of course, the war in Iraq. yeah, it's a trainwreck, but whatever people say we are making substantial progress there. our motives for entering were questionable, but in the end I think Iraq will be an overall better place when peace is finally restored. outside of Iraq, Bush's policies are rated slightly higher. he's kept our economy stable and growing steadily, despite setbacks like 9-11 and an unpopular war. he's managed to keep n. korea and iran under relative control, but he's also pissed off a lot of foreign nations. on the flip side, i think he's made some good international decisions such as welcoming the dalai llama despite chinese protest and supporting the protests in myanmar. overall probably not a good president, but not necessarilly for reasons others owuld like you to believe. i know some people tell you he's a stupi satanic fascist greedy dictator bent on taking over the world but this guy's been in power for 7 years now and look out your window man the whole world hasn't gone to hell yet life is still pretty good.

Mr. Bush proved his lack of leadership and the trust of the American public with his attempts to tie 9-11 with Iraq. Today we paying the price of his "leadership." Nearly 4000 deaths, thousands injured in the war. The toll taken on those who have returned from the war and so soon forgotten.
The cost to taxpayers for the Bush-Cheney war while Bush vetoes programs designed to help American citizens. Bush and with Ronnie Reagan as two man with no leadership.

best was Washington. 2nd was f.d. Roosevelt.
i put bush around 12th.
he has done much to stabilize a powder keg in the world, but i think he is much too liberal and cow tows to the left leaning world press.
history will tell. it will take 50 years or so to see where he actually falls, and relative to those around him in succession.

For the same reason that Larry the Cable Guy and Pauly Shore are considered the best actors in the history of cinema. Or for the same reason that OJ Simpson is considered an upstanding citizen.
