The fact that a race can drop the N-bomb without any repercussions while another can't. Yet racism is the reason
behind it.

Richard Pryor said he would never use the n-bomb again.
He actually went to Africa and figured out that the N-bomb
wasn't cool to say to ANYONE.

Yet, everyday I get to hear bi^ch, hoe, pimp and other
words that are horrible to women, perfectly accepted
by those who cannot tolerate any N words.

OH! Thats different.

WHY?

The reason I don't care about anyone calling me a honkey, cracker, whitey, white trash, or what ever the newest term is
because, I really don't care.

My family came from the British Isles, some of them were Irish.

How many Irish make a big deal about the constant "Drunk
worthless Irishmen?" crap we have to hear about.

My family NEVER owned slaves, but because of RACISM,
I get to hear about how my white family oppressed people.

The best way to get rid of racism is to ignore those feed upon
your reaction to it. The hate is gone when it doesn't hurt.

Stop using the word, and it will go away.

Infidelity, yes, that's right, those men and women out there, that have forgotten the meaning of marriage vows, that spend most of their lives a lie with someone else's spouse! It is just wrong any way you look at it. If you don't want to be married then you should have never taken those vows. That 's what makes me sick to my stomach!

Holy crap, you've got me started on a rant.
Someone above said "Speak English."
That's a good one to start with. I don't care if you are illegal or legal, or anything like that; it is irrelevant to my complaint. It is simply lazy and arrogant to assume that you don't have to assume the responsibilities of the country you move to, primarily learning how to communicate with the citizens of the country.
Number two, which actually ties to the first: I fail to understand why society encourages this lack of motivation to become a better, more knowledgeable member of society. It is OK to be stupid, ignorant, go through life forcing others to accommodate your "handicaps" that you could have easily circumvented by taking the time to learn just one or two extra bits of information. This applies to not learning the language, to encouraging and adopting a life of crime, to turning your back on homosexuals or other religions because you haven't taken the time to step off of your pedestal long enough to understand them, and billions of other things that I shan't waste your time with.
Number three: Rappers without lyrics. I am a musician, and I love music in all forms. There are certain rappers I will happily call musicians, and certain rappers I would rather call poets to a beat. Either is acceptable, though I obviously prefer the first. To illustrate what I mean, Dre is the first, Fiddy is the second. Dre uses musical motifs and concepts in the background for his beats and the layout of his chorus etc. Fiddy, on the other hand, raps in a slick, yet monotone voice, that while impressively poetic, is quite the opposite of (at least my definition of) music. However, I begrudge neither their style and artistic vision. Then there is the third class, which applies more to songs than to individual artists, as many artists fall into the trap on certain songs while steering clear on other tracks. This third class is the songs without any meaning, any purpose. People may disagree with N.W.A's "**** the Police," but they have to admit that the lyrics/music have a definite point, an objective towards which the music moves, flows, progresses. However then you have songs like Hurricane's "Ay Bay Bay," which is simply about how much he loves himself, picks up chicks, is a thug, and loves his song, so turn it up. There is NO value to this song, outside of it's musical appeal, which is sadly absent. The song is a repetitive loop with very little distinction between chorus and verse, and the only thing worth listening to it for is his fascinating grammatical ideas (I think that's a non-offensive way of putting it, as I'm not trying to insult him as a person, just his concept of music.) I will be the first to admit that artists in styles other than rap quite often fall victim to this as well, as words are so incredibly difficult to put together in the perfect way. HOWEVER, these songs rarely get the weeks and weeks of airplay that the rap songs do. And yet, society keeps calling in with comments such as "That song is off da hook! Pump that ****, foo!" Frustrating.
Number Four (I swear I'll stop after this one...): Societal acceptance of TyPiNg lIkE tHiS, or HAY HOW R u doin grlll, i was wondrn if u could come ovr after schOol 2day 2 hang out wit me n my FrIeNdS. (you get the drift)
JUST TYPE! It's not that hard... You have to work harder to type with the sHiFt EvErY oThEr WoRd thing going on, and you're just shooting yourself in the foot for later on IF you try to go to some form of education for a hopefully better job...
One last thing, I know I promised, but this is just a footnote.
EVERYBODY in America needs to watch "The Boondocks," Season One, Episode Nine, "The Return Of The King," simply for Martin Luther King's speech at the end. That is ALL I'm going to say.

I'm done now.

Promiscuity, I feel like the only person that values the wonderful feeling of sex with someone you love rather than a perfect stranger who may or may not deserve that feeling that sex brings. I know there's others out there but it's a very rare find these days.
