that i have completed with this be looked at the same as an associates degree?

No, because setting out to do something and finishing it is seen as preferable to setting a bigger goal and giving up. The good news, though, is that there are now a lot of jobs available for people who went beyond high school but did not finish college. I just read an article about it today.

it depends what classes you have taken in your three years, some classes might not be counted in an associates degree.
you should really check out the school you went to for their degrees and see what classes are required.
