If I had uniforms: drain of happines. I'd be pretty depressed, it may be reflected on students grades.

Con: extra laundry- I wear the uniform at school then have to change when I get home to play clothes- double laundry.
Our uniforms are white shirts and blue pants/skirts- white gets dirty twice as fast.
One style doesn't fit all kids. If you have a perfect figure- ok but if you are chubby, the skirt/blouse looks awful.

Pro's: No one has to make fun of someone else not having clothing that are as hip and fancy, etc., and be put down because they can't afford the latest fashions. Everyone is on equal ground.
Con's: I think it suppresses the person's individual expression and their 'true selves', can't be expressed through their dress, which is really important, especially to the tweens and teens.
