isn't the real reason you support the war in Iraq is due to a the stock you have in one or more of these companies or the like? Or maybe your mommy or daddy have stock and you are the fat cat gonna score big?
or do you simply support the war becuase your church (bush co.) tells you to?
is it too dificult to see through the myriad of lies and deceipt bush has pulled?
the sad part is most Americans ad the worlds eyes are open. We have awakened or were already awake.
yet sadly you still support. The lies echoe in your headm and out of sheer embarassment or pride you refuse to wake up. Many other republicans have abandoned ship. I did. Many otehr former military leaders, politicians, people, have just had it with teh devistation bush has brought to our nation.
isn't it simply time to conced, swallow your pride and get the real criminals and terrorists of America?
isn't it time to cal it a day and spare the lives of the troops. And stop the $1.6 T yes i said Trillion war??

I dont hold stock in any of those companies, my brother was killed in Afganistan in july, and still I support our actions in the middle east. I and two of my brothers served in the military, we know the score and did our part to protect this nation. You make emotional appeals and underscore the economic costs of our actions abroad. Those costs pale in comparison to not acting at all. While it would be ideal if everyone in the world played nice and there was no conflict, that is not how reality is. There are 22 reasons cited for going into iraq in the authorization to use force (written, voted on, and passed by congress, including the liberal contingent), as well as other reasons cited in the Iraqi liberation act. Try reading the legal doccuments generated around this conflict and you might get an inkling of the real picture. You are idealistic, but not realistic in your thinking.

... well my grandfather gave me $1000 of stock in the Coca Cola company for my first birthday, if that counts. i suppose if you really wanted to you could make the war on terror an evil Coke conspiracy. I, however, am conservative because i believe that I can make my own decisions and am not dependent on the government to make my life better, easier, etc. because i can do that myself thanks. I don't own an oil company (I sure would love to though) and am really pretty middle of the road as far as economic status goes. but hey i'm a college student i'm not supposed to have money anyway... but that's besides the point. I'm conservative because I believe in working hard and supporting myself and my family, and that the government should really shut up and leave me alone. I do support the war in Iraq for a myriad of reasons, none of which you listed and most of which you might not understand anyway. I would also appreciate it if you stopped acting like you know how I, my family, and my friends, most if not all of whom are connies, feel and act. we don't call you a lazy, cowardly, hypocritical shortsighted liberal, even though we probably could and would be justified. I don't mind that you have your own opinions but try and keep them from being the sensless rant you posted above eh

I live in a townhouse in a small town in Wyoming. The only people I know out here that could be called rich are the liberals that call the war in the Mid East evil. Everyone else I know, likes him. And these are the people that get straight A's in class. Half of them live in trailor parks or small/town houses. The rest live on ranches. So, calling me rich really gets you no where.

The majority of retirement funds public and private hold stocks in these companies. My State retirement holds stock in all oil companies. It pays retirements to Dems and Republicans
