No. The color of beets is more than just captivating. Beets along wth prickly pears make up the only edible sources of the valuable family of pigments called betalains. Current research is discovering the ability of these pigments to act as powerful antioxidants, helping in the fight against the damage caused by free radicals. Beets also provide potassium, vitamins A and C, magnesium, riboflavin, iron, copper, calcium and zinc.

Beets can be eaten raw, steamed, boiled, juiced or roasted, but no matter how you eat them, they are a delicious and healthy addition to your diet.

And most importantly; you are very wise in considering beets to be among or if not the only one of your favorites. According to the chart of homeopathy:;

These are the beneficial effects of Beets:

Controls blood pressure
Combats cancer
Strengthens bones
Protects your heart
Aids weight loss

So eat away!!!! Moreover, did you know that if you eat too many carrots, your pee would also turn orange. My friend's daughter's skin even turn orangey from eating too many carrots.

Beets are yummy. However, they foster the growth of alien fetuses which collect in the dirt around growing beets. It seems they have taken up residence in your urethra. As long as you continue your consumption of beets, said fetus/fetuses should mature in about 3.5 months.

Ok, I would suggest laying off the LSD that you ingested along with those beets. That would probably solve the problem.
