My mother gave us all very interesting sounding names, I asked her what she'd name another child if she had another boy and girl, just out of curiosity. That's what made me think of this question. Most of us know we'll never have another child but it's nice to hear what names you'd consider nonetheless. Thanks, you all have great names.

There just ain't gonna be no more children for me and Mama (Thank God 'cause we couldn't keep up with them). But I'll tell you this. If either of our daughters had been a boy it would have been John Clarence.

John following a five generation tradition that has now ended and Clarence for my maternal grandfather (Clarence Manley [first & middle]He detested both names and went by CM).

We used to joke about him having twelve friends and being called JC and the boys back in the days of our more worldly pursuits

Pocahontas for a girl
and Sacheverall for a boy. Both beautiful unusual names and would give them a great start in life, as they would have to learn to be more talented than anybody else.

Well, this is pure fantasy but I'll bite.

For a boy, I like the name Jacob Lee
For a girl, I like the name Emily, Lydia or Penelope (Penny for short)
I am old fashioned I am. : )
