Please dont get me wrong lol. Not the kind of depression as we all know, but the other depression that is located on a map? Does anyone know? A good explained answer of what is is would be great! A map depression is found on a topographic map. Lines on a topographic map show elevation, distance above sea level . A low area is shown with a depression symbol. It shows a hole, basically. the symbol is a circle with small hachure marks (straight lines) that point into the depression (circle).
