I was just thinking man this movie is so real and then it ends, no interaction with Redford and Cruise, no story from Streep nothing, I just hated the headline ending so much and am the biggest Tom Cruise fan. I just felt cheated

I too am a fan of Tom Cruise movies but I will NOT see this movie. You couldn't pay me to see it. The first responder to this question said it best.

I think its stupid that people associate being anti-war with being anti-American. Nothing could be more American than standing up for what you believe in and letting your voice being heard. As far as the movie depicting how people get swindled into joining the military... it happens everyday.

If you don't agree with me, then think about how many "rich kids" go to war. Ha.

Anyone who participates in the making of a movie that shows our service men and women in such a bad light DURING WAR TIME is a traitor to our nation. I am so negatively impressed by all the "stars" who rant about the war. Just because they have some acting ability, they get over-inflated with themselves and spout idiocy regarding foreign policy and governmental affairs. This movie has been panned and so it should be!!

I haven't seen it and I don't intend to. I read some reviews and decided not to waste my time and money on a movie that's basically Tom Cruise and Meryl Streep talking in a room ... no, thanks.
