My fiancee gets really hot in his sleep and he sweats. Gross I know but I can deal with it. I was just wondering if anyone knew the best sheets to buy that would keep him cool and not get all soggy and gross when he inevitably sweats. Those waterproof, sweatproof ones are NOT an option. I tried it but they feel like plastic and the noise irritates us to no end and we can't sleep cause it's too loud. Any help would be great. Thank you.

ps. We've tried turning the heat down, opening windows, turning fans on, nothing prevents the sweating. So now I'm looking for the best way to live with it. Thank you.

100% cotton and choose the lighter colour if possible for easy maintenance. Darker coloured sheets will fade easily due to frequent washing.

I'll suggest you buy 1 extra piece of sheet just for him; to be put on top of your bed sheet. Spread this piece when he goes to sleep; only on his side since you have no such problem. This way, you can still maintain the fancy design sheets since all his sweat will be absord into the extra sheet. All you need to do is to wash this extra piece as much as you like without damaging the real bed sheet.

2 more advice for you :
1) have you tried installing an air-cond
2) arrange for a body check-up for your fiance soonest possible or at least have a chat with a doctor to find out if it's normal to sweat like him.

You must make sure he drinks lots of water to replenish the amount that he lost sweating.

First of all I would only use 100 per cent pure cotton products.
Start with a cotton mattress cover, so it absorbs the sweat and use cotton sheets. They also have cotton blankets and they are great, I used to have one and used it all year round.
He should ask his doctor what could be causing him to sweat so much. Has he always sweated like that or has this just started? Also make sure the pillow has a cotton cover on it.

Cotton sheets. !00% cotton. Easy to wash cool in the summer, warm in the winter, and pure, natural fabric.

You don't need more than 350 count thread; any more than that is a luxury sheet, but you can get them if you want to, of course. But generally speaking, any higher than 400 is not necessary for a quality sheet.

The TEE-Shirt sheets are really comfy and cool, but the best for this situation is prob plain ole percal... also a technique i learned from my ex is to spinkle alittle bit of baby powder between them

100% cotton sheets, 100% cotton mattress pad, down comforter with cotton cover, no blankets, and a cotton or cotton/wool futon mattress.

Synthetic beds and bedding don't breathe and cause sweating.
