I don't know about root tonic but I use a powder called Rootone and can get it at Walmart or any garden shop.

If you can't get the product you are looking for try seaweed extract. You water it down and water plants with it. It is a root stimulant and tonic. Sold here under the brand 'Seasol' but there are other brands available.

Are you referring to a rooting hormone for growing new plants from cuttings? You can buy "Schultz --Take Root" from your Home and Garden Center.
There is another name brand called "Rootone" that I found at a Farm and Garden Center.
Both work great!!!

you can make your own if you have access to a willow tree..... cut some small branches up into couple inch segments and pour boiling water over them... when the water is cool, there's your tonic.....or overnight, as per this site...
