An egg after conception is an embryo until around the second trimester (literature varies on the exact week) after which it is known as a fetus until birth when it is a newborn or infant then toddler, etc etc

you start out as a zygote, then you go to an embryo, then fetus, then neonate (this stage lasts from birth to I believe 6 weeks), infant, toddler, child, adolescent, adult.
