I am very serious about going to school to become a pharmacist once I graduate from high school. I know that this will require at least 5-6 years of college to get my PharmD, and the classes will be difficult. I would like to know people's opinions about the schooling that is required. Do you think it will be worth all the time and work in the long run? What kinds of classes will I be taking during this time, and how difficult is it to be accepted into a pharmacy program after completing the undergrad courses?

My friend right now is doing this and the school is so hard for her but she says it is worth it. The classes are pretty hard and you have to be able to do a lot of math. I saw her textbooks and lets say I would not be able to do it. However if you have the will and this is your dream go for it. It just takes a lot of time and hardworking. But that's with all schools and majors.

Training to become a pharmacist takes usually about 6 years after high school to complete. If you are employed by a government agency or a private pharmaceutical company, you need to have a doctorate. Sorry if I didn't exactly answer your question, that's the most I know.
