No, of course not !! Being able to knit or crochet is a very special thing to do, because it shows that you have a lot of patience. Only a patient person can do these things, because in today's age, where things happen at the click of a button, these talents are things to be cherished. I knit, crochet, embroider and do what not, the emotional satisfaction of seeing your design take shape is the best reward you can get.

I love knitting! I am 15 and find it a very relaxing and rewarding hobby. My gran taught me, my sisters and my cousins all how to knit when we were old enough to learn and I am glad she did. You can get really good and knit jumpers, etc, or you can just knit piles of simple scarves, which is what I tend to do. It is also a great hooby because you can do it while you are watching tv or sitting in bed reading.

Definitely no. I love to knit, crochet, cross-stitch and others.
Despite having 2 young babies, I still try all ways to knit. This is my way to relax and to unwind. I knit so often that I can eat, watch TV etc and knit at the same time.
Be proud of yourself because it is a GIFT to able to knit or to do any other crafty stuffs. It is a special talent and not everyone are born with it.
I'm very proud to be born with this special talent. Friends and relatives came knocking at my door begging (so to speak) for my pieces. Parents of my friends know me very well because of my knitting talent.
Keep it up and be proud !

My colleague is knitting during lunch breaks. She is 21. After she knits something she goes around the office and shows it off - and everybody go very exited and tell her how talented she is, although all she knits are scarfs :-) It's not what you do - it's how you present it!

No, I do not. It is an excellent hobby, plus, the sweaters, hats, scarves, etc. that can be made, and various other things as well, it is a wonderful skill to have.
Several years ago there was a famous football player, Rosie Greer, who took up needlepoint, or a craft like it.
Take care.
