can a positive test be wrong??? i took one today after asking advice from u guys and my test was positive...is it possible it could b wrong??? i dont want it to be wrong

well my periods two days late and theas no sign of it comming so i have a feeling its right i am pregnant but i just wanted to know if they can be wrong

false positives are VERY RARE, so if it said positive...you be pregnant!!

well I had bought 4 tests when i was late within a 3 weeks span and after I was officially 2 weeks late, it came up positive. I myself have never had a false positive but whos to say it issn't possible. I'd wait a few days (3) and test again if you haven't started. If so..congrats!!

You are probably pregnant if the tests says that you are. False positives are rare, but still possible. Take another test and if it comes out positive, then you are an expecting mother.

I had a false positive once and I thought I was pregnant and ended up starting my period 5 days late. Did you take more than one? If two are positive I would say CONGRATS! With this pregnancy I took three different hpt tests just to make sure.

I think that getting a negative that is wrong is much more likely than getting a false positive.

It's not the most likely thing in the world, but it happens.
You can not always rely on at home tests. You should follow it up with a trip to the doctor. :]

not likely, did the positive appear within the first 3 min? If it was long after that than it was probably an evaporation line.

if you're really unsure, its best you see a doctor. chances are, you're pregnant. CONGRATS!
