k so i just started 9th grade. im really overworked and stressed like crazy. im tired, and im going crazy. theres so much work in school. i get like a project every week. tests are hard. idk maybe this is just cause this is my first year? i am very organized and i know how to manage time. but theres simply not enough time to do everything. i get home at 5. i eat for about half an hour. and then start hw. i finish at about 8 or 9, and by then im exhausted. some days i got bball practice so yeah. i got absolute no time for friends or anything! and projects are flying by like i dont even know what. i already had like 3 science projects, 1 math project, and 2 english projects... and more.
i know this excuse wont fly by with my teachers so that option is cancelled out. uhm ive done fairly well for my first marking period! all e's except 1 g and 1 s.... ive noticed even ive got breathing problems breathing. and i get like 6,7 hrs of sleep.
can anyone help in anyway?please? thank you!

You are getting too stressed. That is not healthy.

In spite of the fact that you think that you are well organized I am giving you a number of tips on how to do your homework and how to study better and faster. One of the sites below is about time management and tells you how to manage your time more effectively.

1. Have all of your materials ready and in the place that you are going to study.

3. Study when its quiet. No music, no TV, No headphones, no nothing.

4. Do your most difficult subject fist or else you may never get to it.

5. Keep a calendar so that you know when a project is due or a test is going to be given.

6. Vocabulary is very important. Words have different meanings. You need to know the meaning for the subject that you are taking.

7. Study the relationship of things. How is the topic that you studied related to the unit that you are studying?

8. Your textbook has hints for you. Many books have important words or phrases in darkened or colored type, make sure that you know them thoroughly.

The sites below are excellent and will give you many other ideas about studying.

you might need to sacrifice some Baseball practices and games for homework and assignments. i had to do that with soccer and bowling together. i know how if feels, i'm in 9th grade right now. i think it just depends on what teacher you have. right now, i have the easiest math teacher in the world, she just gives a ton of extra credit every day.

so maybe loosening up your schedule will be good, or maybe transfer to a different teacher, but teaching the same thing. Your school is different than mine, here you can transfer when ever you want. just not so often. Hope i helped!!!

Everyone has a stressful time. Really look at your schedule and see if you are using your time wisely. I remember doing all that stuff. I worked 2 different paying jobs for spending money, was editor of the school newspaper,on the tennis team, and a cheerleader. And I made top grades and finished a 4.0 But believe me it was tough and I did not have a minute to waste. but it was the best time of my life.

Go see your school councilor and see if they can look
look at your schedule and see if they can help. It is possible you are being assigned too much work. Each teacher does not always know another teacher is putting out.

You should just try to budget time better, start things early, and know what teachers you can slip a bit with (who will accept things late without penalty, etc). Trust me, 9th grade is not that bad. It's like preschool compared to college so stressing about it is not worth it.
