No team will want him, he'll want to much money.

As of now, only two teams are even interested in talking to Bonds. The Angels and the A's have expressed some interest, but only if he is a full time DH. I think he will eventually decide between playing for the A's or retire.

i really think that his only option is to be a dh, so nl teams are out. the very good al teams are either set at dh (ortiz & giambi) or don't want a distraction like bonds around their young players (indians). the a's seem like a good possibility because it's unlikely they will bring piazza back and he probally would give them a hometown discount to stay in the bay area. also, the twins are on the verge of alienating their entire fan base by losing hunter and trading santana, so icould see them bringing in bonds as a distraction. finally, if the angels don't land a-rod look for them to be a possibility. i predict bonds ends up in oakland and see minnesota and the angels as long shots.

I hope to see Barry Bonds go to a team that shouldnt compete for the playoffs next year. If he goes to the Yankees or another powerhouse team, it will give him the chance to get a World Series ring, or retire on a high note. I want him to finish on a team in the bottom of the barrel so he doesn't get out of baseball with a bang, and instead fades out slowly. Marlins or Orioles for example.

He will stay in the bay area if he can because that is where his fan base is located. His legs are gone and he is a defensive liability and will have to be a DH next year. Only one team can meet these requirements and that is the Oakland A's.

A lot of people think he will go to the A's, since he supposedly fits in with Billy Beane's "moneyball" style, plus they are in the Bay Area.
I don't think he would be a good fit in NY, the media would totally kill him...

The A's and Giants are rivals, and their fans dont like each other, so I don't know how he would be received by the A's fans.

It won't be the A's. Billy Beane will not stand for that. I would say the Yankees or Blue Jays.

given the track history of bonehead moves (post-steroid Juan Gonzalez, A-Rods ridiculous contract, post-cork-and-steroid Sammy Sosa) my money is on the Texas Rangers... LMAO

Either that or he's gonna join Satan and Saddam's menage in hell!
