OMG, if you had my job,you would wash them before you do anything!! I am a certified nurse aide.I have contact with human waste, sickness, diseases,sores,etc. Therefor I wash my hands constantly..

I wash my hands before I do just about anything. It is a habit I picked up in college. I also keep an eye on the other nurses who work in my department.

Of course, your hands are the dirtiest part of you.
Though I probably have washed them 50 times while I was preparing the meal. I can't stand gunk on my hands.
Even if I am stopping at a fast food place, I use antibacterial gel on them. And when I get done shopping and hanging onto the handle of the cart, eweeee, all those little kids slobbering all over it!

Oh, always!! Also beforem during and after cooking. I wash my hands so much, my sister says my hands are the only she'd feel safe eating soup directly out of!
