My husband and I will be celebrating our 5 year anniversary next week and it's my year to plan something to do. We've had a rough year and sorta disconnected with each other. I want to do something special, to kind of rekindle what we lost. Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

Take a weekend away if its possible.
Go to a nice hotel and just stay in and _____.
Or if money is tight just plan a weekend in each others arms go to a nice dinner and surprise him with dessert.

think a scrapbook is the perfect idea. If you took the time and effort to make a scrapbook with memories, it really says something about your relationship. You don't need to just put pictures, but little tidbits of your time together. Wrappers, stickers, quotes, receipts, tags, bits of wrapping paper of gifts you've given to each other, etc. It'll turn out really nicely and he'll love it. It'll be something he can cherish for all of your lives. =]

Have him kidnapped. Work it out with some friends to have him kidnapped in the middle of the day by freinds who will bring him to a hotel that you will be waiting at. Have a nice picnic lunch like chicken or whatever and be wearing something sexy. you just have to spend the day together and away from everything and everyone. He will be excited by the anticipation of what is to become.
Make sure you work it out with his boss to get the rest of the day off.

do you have your husband picture when he was and you was little?? you need to have about 4 or 5 piece .. all you have to do is go to the shop and framed that picture(of course bafter u make a copy of that..don't want to use the original picture.. make a copy then make it bigger).. cut the picture of both of you when your are little and combined the two picture like your wedding pic..
and put all over your house..
a place where your husband can see it..
make a card and write "you and i were meant to be.. like the picture.."(if u don't like or u have any idea u can change it of course)

Plan something romantic.....Not sure where your at so don't know what is around you. Maybe go back and redo the first date you went on....Have a nice dinner and soft music bubble bath sexy nightie.....?

Get naked for him all day long if possible. It's really affordable and trust me on this one, it's exactly what he wants.
