Should Hasek or Osgood be Detroit's starting goalie?
In your opinion, who is better? Should Detroit even keep Hasek?

Dominik Hasek is a class goalie.

Chris Osgood is a very sound, reliable, and trusted goalie.

They both have similar potentials so I'd say give them close to 50%-50% playing time each this season or don't go beyond 65%-35% for either goalie with respect to playing time.

Osgood has started off great. Hasek is a proven goalie also. But in the end, its up for the coach to decide.

What I honestly think is that in back-to-back games, the coach should change goalies.

Hope this answers your question

I used to think Hasek was the better goalie, but this year Osgood has had the hot glove. I think Osgood will be their franchise goalie, Haske seems to have lost a step lately.

According to voting by the 30 NHL GMs and over 200 professional NHL scouts; Dominik Hasek is the 2nd best goalie in the NHL right now. This is true, it is in the most recent NHL central scouting report.

I say start Hasek. They gave him a raise to start more. Not sit his @ss on the bench. Sure, hes not doing great and he had a crappy game today. I mean really crappy. But let him get some more starts in and let him find his groove.

Hasek is a better goaltender.

Osgood has earned it - no longer in elementary terms in video games 4-6, yet all twelve months, and in the time of his profession for that count number. i presumed that giving him replaced right into a foul concept previously whilst, and getting him lower back replaced right into a clever circulate.
