Saturn can be seen with the naked eye, it was known to the ancients (astronomers and anyone else that cared to look at the night sky). We can see it ourselves with the naked eye (if we know where and when to look).

The naked-eye planets like Saturn have been known since prehistoric times, so it's impossible to say who "discovered" them. The question makes no sense to anyone who knows even a little astronomy or history. That it should be asked pretty regularly here really makes me dispair for the educational system.

Hi. Saturn is a naked eye object. Probably a shepard or even an earlier person. It would be considered a 'wanderer', or a body that moved over short periods of time, by any observer.

Gallaleo first used a telescope to see saturn it was like a 30x magnification. other earlier astronomers saw the planets but did not really understand them like when using a teloscope.
