yes it is a real possiablitiy that you could of been raped or molested as a child and nt remember. As a child you might not of been able to deal with it , and it could of happen more then one time, and so the memory has be surpressed, and that can be the cause of the lost of your memory up to the age 11 years old. You could even have a personality disorder, and so when you go out and get drunk with your friends, that might just come out. I am not going to say that your parents did it, cause maybe they were not the ones who did. It could be possiable. It could of been a stranger, or even a baby sitter, or a relative, you just never really know about this kind of thing. Yes it is your body and when things like that happen, your body and mind sometimes helps you deal with it by surpressing it or , even creating other personalities. Now i am not saying that you have other personalities, cause you may not, you could just of dissoicalated from it. Some time in the future it may come to you and who it was who might of did that to you. You could go to a professional , like a therapist and see if they can help you figure it out. That might be a good thing, but you must be prepared to hear things and remember things that you may not like . So before doing that make sure you really want to know. Cause right now it just seems to be a lose of memory and something you have not really worried about. Once you get into a therapy, they just might open a door that you are not ready for yet. So really think about your opinions. I am happy you have a son, and are married, it has not effect that part of your life . Remember though that there are people out there, that will harm childern and adult, so keep your son close to you, and your wife, just remember he is a gift from god, and you can not tell when God will call him back to him. I hope this has been somewhat helpful. Take care and god bless you and your family now and forever.

It might not be strange but I always remember you have to look out where you are going inside as there might be a new addition. It could have been cats, dogs, birds, cocky's, duck, magpies etc. There was 4 kids in our family and if we saw something lost or injured, we use to bring them home. Dad didn't mind but mum did, cannot recall all the arguments between mum and dad with the animals. A strange thing would have to be a phone & t.v. in the toilet. In the outside toilet there was also a shower which only had cold water.

A stovetop bun warmer. They don't make them anymore, not commonly, anyway. I don't even think they were common when I was a kid because even the other grownups would ask my mom what it was and where she'd gotten it.

It's a large covered roundish pan with a basket inside. Put the rolls in the basket, add a little bit of water in the pan beneath the basket, and put it on the stove at the lowest temp you can manage. The rolls come out deliciously warm and moist.

I think I used to have one of those wooden lady things. You would open her up and there would be another smaller lady inside and so on until you got to a really tiny lady. I remember having a big toy box by the bay windows of our lounge in our old house. The decoration in the lounge was orange walls, brown, light brown and orange carpet with brown curtains that had pictures of what look like brown grass on them and dark green lever chairs with brown cushions, Which were later replaced with orange chairs with brown stripes. Hmmm nice! It was the early 80's though. My dad sometimes got this big white sheet cinima thing out that he played his cine camera films on.

My dad built a model wooden ship. I remember getting in trouble for wanting to touch the miniature ropes, cannons and what not. I was probably around 4.

Our house was sooooo 70's. We had mushroom shaped chairs, a huge stereo with red velvet on the sliding doors leading to the record player, and on some of the doorways where there should have been doors, there were just beads hanging down.

I had one of those! It was a Santa Claus, though, and I remember being a kid and trying to open the smallest one that was solid wood. I think it was made out of cedar wood, because it smelled good.

I remember these rubber pop-up things I had. They were made so that if you turned them inside out and put them on the floor, they'd unfurl and pop up into the air after a few seconds. They came in all different colors and sizes.

(If anyone remembers the name of those popup things, would you e-mail it to me?)

I had a punky brewster bed. Looking back, that was kind of strange. Pretty cool at the time!
I know those wooden dolls you are talking about, my kids love them!

We lived in rural Illinois. Nobody had a real basement, but there was a small area under the floor of our pantry in the middle of the house where you could go during a tornado. I used to like to hide in there.
