The media likes going after Britney so much because I'm not sure but I'm going to take a guess and say because it may bug her or she may like it and the more she asks like a dumb@$$ the more attention she will get!
Or she really is going through a tough time and the media enjoys getting in her face and ruining her life!!!!!!!!
Sometimes i feel really sorry for her because the media would probably be responsible or have some blame in a suicide attempt or successful attempt

Although they don't do much to help, it is not the media that is trying to drive her over the edge. Another organization deserves credit for that.
It could be that the media was told to draw out the sorry saga to distract the public from other stories that might get written and to add to her grief. They want attention focused on anything but their conspiracy.
It is unbelieveable that three young women who don't know or like each other would have a contest to see which one could most utterly ruin her own life the quickest. This all seems to be something that is being done to them, more than by them.

Because Michael Jackson got boring they need someone to pick on and britney was the next easiest target. Trust me, Michael's getting back into the media, they'll soon leave britney alone and go after him again.

I think it's because she's so unstable and there is always some odd news going on about her. Also, because she used to be quite stable and loved by everyone but now she's getting bad reputation because of what she has been going through. I agree that they should leave her alone but the media likes stuff like that so they will keep doing it.

I guess because the poor thing makes us feel good about ourselves (at her expense). I don't know if she's on something that is messing up her mind or what, but, geez, showing your couchie more than once to the paparazzi so it can be shown again and again and again. And what about leaving the kids in the car when you go shopping after they've been taken from you. Good grief.

Do you really believe what the 'media' says about anything? It also says she's incredibly rich, and spends fantastic sums of money living a lavish lifestyle.
I suppose you love supporting that. The media are paid well too.

Because she's a walking trainwreck. She has enough money to do anything she wants, yet continues to chose all the wrong things.
People are fascinated with the lives of the rich and famous because we would all like to imagine ourselves with the same advantages. It pumps up your own ego to think "Wow, if I had that kind of money and fame, I would do _____. Not act like a crazed moron with no concern for my kids!".

Some people like to focus on the bad... to know that even though these people have TONS of money, their lives are sometimes worse off then our own.
It's a sad world that we live in. But I try to focus on the good.

Freak-ay ! i'm thinking how she'll take care of her video being held up for ridicule on each substantial information channel from right here to eternity. Kinda sense sorry for her, yet - dang ! OH nicely, all and sundry merits their quarter-hour.
