He said it was disrespectful and threatened to hit me and had such a fit that the other cars we drove by were watching us in shock. Are there other reasons why he was upset, he was never upset when I told my mom I was busy before......... my mom calls everyday.

But he has always blown up at me over something at least every other day or once every four days.

Your husband has a major "Anger Management Issue!"

I would recommend that you call a Shelter for Battered Women .... You "may" not be "BATTERED" YET .... But
you are certainly on your way to being battered! You are
ALREADY being verbally abused and threatened! There is NO justification for that .... And you should take immediate
action.

The Shelters have access to ALL kinds of information .... Support Groups, Hot lines, and even Legal-Aid.

You must first decide if you want (to continue) to live with
your husband having these fits of anger every 2-4 days.
(And trust me .... without help and intervention ..... the anger and rage will ONLY get worse!)

Please take this seriously! Your husband needs help ... and you NEED to get away from him until he gets it!

You CAN'T make your husband do ANYTHING .... But you can certainly control your response! And you should respond
by getting the HELP and ADVICE that will equip you to deal with this situation.

Did you tell him the same sometime before "Honey, can I do it later, because I am busy now?"

If you did that, or something like that, may be he is angry about that and your response to your mom triggered his reaction.

If that is not the case, then there is something else going on, or he has some issues of his own.

You seriously need to be apart for a few days and when he calls you to come home, tell him that you will on the terms that he get counseling because I could see if it was HIS mother, but you should be able to tell anyone what you want if you don't want to be bothered.

He was disrespectful to you for sure. One fact is this. We train our spouse in how to treat us. Talk to us and relate to us. Let him know in no uncertain terms if he ever hits you, your gone. He has anger management rpoblems for sure and is a momma's boy perhaps ot maybe he loves his momma more than you.

Ya, something else is wrong. Also, why would he threaten to hit you over something so minor? Please tell me he doesn't hit you regularly. If so, this is just one more thing he wants to control, and you should get out fast.

ya were the two of you having an argument when she called? If so then it was embarrassment on his part because he would think you would call your mom later and tell her everything about the argument.

I think that he has problems. Do not tolerating him hitting you or threatening to hit you. He is the one that is disrespectful.

tell him that your relationship with your mom is none of his business and that if he hits you you will call the police.
DO NOT BACK DOWN ON THIS ONE. IF THEY HIT YOU ONCE THEY WILL HIT YOU AGAIN.
