how many friends do you have that you actually trust with your life, or with something that is really special?

A couple,
I had a friend today, and i completely lost her trust.
My advice is, don't ever lie about anything serious, it screws
up a friendship/relationship and you see a total other
side of that person.
Friends i trust with my life...
probably four or five at least.
To trust with something really special...10 maybe.

Okay, I've made a ladder of the people in my life. But I can't decide where to draw the line between "true-blue friends" and everyone else that is not in that category.
I'd say my brother is my best friend. With him I get all the perks of being alone and being with someone else at the same time. He gets me--he understands the context of every little thing I do and say. No one could penetrate or replace our bond. I'm so lucky!!!
Then there's my friend from Nigeria. She's a lot like my brother. We don't have that impenetrable history, but her friendship is constant and unyielding all the same,,, no matter what!!! Of all the friends I've had in my life, most have faded away or blatantly brushed me off like a speck of dust on their velvet coat. But somehow I never have to compete for her friendship. I'm so lucky!!!
After that it's all a bunch of loose screws/ gray areas. Not necessarily on their end, but on mine.

I have three best friends named Robin, Kelly, and Allison. I can tell them anything, especially Kelly, she is like so funny, so she sometimes doesnt even remeber the secret. I also trust my mom, cuz she is all the way in Colorado!
