I was barely 23 and right out of college. I had met her when I was 19 and she was 4 years older. About six months into the relationship, I proposed right in the middle of an intimate moment. She said yes. There were tears. Things were in slow motion. I think there was candlelight, even though I don't remember there being candles. It was magic.

Of course, we talked about marriage in generalities a lot beforehand (so we both suspected that we were on the same page), and we talked about specifics a lot afterward to make sure we were still on the same page. It just felt like the right thing to do at the right time in the relationship because I thought we were both at that point where we knew we wanted to see a little further into the future together than what we're doing for winter break.

We did wait until I was close to graduation (eight months or so) before announcing the engagement. It was really important for us to be independent of needing any parental support before making such a big move.

HOWEVER, it was a real pain to dodge those constant questions of "How did he propose?" at the wedding. Ha ha!!! I forgot what story we made up that we agreed to tell people.

properly, in the event that they have been genuine Christians, certainly definite! yet whilst they are in basic terms Jehovah's Witnesses, Spiritualists, seventh Day Adventists, Methodists, Scientologists, Congregationalists, Presbyterians, Mormons, Baptists, Christian Scientists, Roman Catholics, Dravidians or Jim Jones-ers, then certainly no! remember, something is a possibility. meaning some day an previous couple of say a hundred are going to do it and it will bring about a new child. yet that new child will probable finally end up to have some thing incorrect with it and not desire to be a suited Christian, and we can do with none longer of them. So double no! with the aid of how, it notably much seems such as you haven't got self assurance lifeless people would desire to get married. that's purely undemanding prejudiced - and we don't need that variety of communicate right here. besides, that's already occurred.

The first time I got married I was 21 years old, way to young. He really did not propose we just decided together to get married. Young and dumb! The second time, I was 33 years old and he proposed at the first restaurant we had our first date at, two years later. We have been happily married for 11 years. Don't get married young. Wait until you are at least 30 years old!

I am 20 years old and my wonderful hubby is 30. We were living together and we were laying in bed, and he looked at me and told me that I was going to marry him. One week later, we got married. I dont think that is really a proposal but it worked for me.

I've never been married, but I remember my older friends being proposed too. We were at the Fountain. He decided to get tea when he knew she hated them and while bringing out the tray, he "tripped" and sent the tea flying all over her. He rushed over and she was furious. But then she found the ring on the string where conneted to the teabag and she was confused. He got down o his knees, took the ring from her hand, and asked 'Will you be my teabag?', and at first she was mad, but then started shouting yes for like athousand times x 100.

Married for the first (and only) time, I was 25. We dated for six years (well, 5 out of 6 years!). He asked me several times, but it was never the right time. Finally, it was the right time for both of us. We were engaged for a year before we were married.

I married at 19. We were just talking, and I told him I couldn't imagine spending my life with anyone ,but him. He told me he felt the same way, then I said, " well then why don't we get married". So we did and I have never been happier. I kind of wish it was more romantic, but real life is nothing like the movies.

I will be 49 on our wedding day (he will be 47)--first marriage for both of us. The proposal: we had been at a charity ball, and so he was wearing a tuxedo and I was in a formal dress. It was a beautiful, warm, spring night, and there was supposed to be a meteor shower. I suggested that we stop off on my highrise rooftop before going in for the night to look for falling stars. So there, with the gorgeous city skyline in the background, the stars twinkling above, and we dressed to the nines, he dropped to one knee, pulled a ring from his pocket and asked me to marry him.
