There is no such term as potential gravity.

The force is calculated by multiplying the masses of the earth and the satellite, multiply by the gravitational constant G, and divide by the squared distance between the center of the earth and the satellite.

You can find Potential energy by multiplying force that you obtained just now by the distance between earth's center and the satellite.
