I'm kinda confused on how to insert a tampon. Do you want any of the aplicator to go inside you? I've tried inserting them but have only went until the aplicator was touching me but it felt like the tampon wasn't in far enough. How far do you push it in? Do you want to use cardboard aplicators or plastic?
Not going to ask mom or sisters.

wash your hands. when you insert the tampon, you must push the tampon towards the back.. be in a relaxed position, after taking a shower is a good time to put it on.. raise your leg and separate yourself.. i hope you know what i mean. i remember i tried putting on a tampon and i just went straight up and that didn't work, then i realized that i just had to push it up towards the back direction. umm you don't use the cardboard... but when you first put it on, you have to keep the cardboard, so you can push it in with the second smaller piece of cardboard. try to push some of the cardboard in because you have to insert the tampon deep enough so that you don't feel it. okay so as soon as you're doing that, push the other piece of the tampon so its removing the tampon into you. again make sure its deep enough and if it hurts, try again cuz its done wrong. then the cardboard should of removed itself from you. by the way don't worry about putting it in too deep or something like that cuz the string is long enough and its securely attached. its probably going to take you a couple of trys, but you will get it.. i thought i was one of those people who can never wear one.. lol keep a tampon on only for hours or so to prevent this disease called toxic shock syndrome..very rare but deadly..!! good luck

Yes you want the applicator to go inside of you. About 3/4 of the way up before you push the tampon out. The plastic applicators are more comfortable and they will go in easier. The cardboard ones are blunt and can hurt. They hurt me sometimes and I have been using them for 25 years. To get this right it really is about the angle. If it hurts it is not the right angle and you need to try another one. Sometimes it feels like it is not going to go in. If it does not hurt push it, it will go. I hope that this helps you.

push one all hte way out so you can see what it is you're putting insdie you. It's a long cotton thing and a string. You want ALL of the cotton inside you with only the string hanging out. you'll want to start with the thin tampons first. Try sitting down on your floor with a hand held mirror and look at what it is ur doing with this thing. There are instructions on the tampon boxes too.
don't leave any on the applicator in you. stick it in almost until where the two parts of the applicator meet. hold on to both, and push the tampon inside you and pull out the cardboard (applicator)
I never asked either...you'll figure it out

there are instructions in there for a reason haha but anyways you put the applicator in you until the larger part (where the cotton is) is inside your vagina. then you push it inside of you by pushing the long skinny part until it goes completely inside the big part. just push one out to see out it works to practice. i like the plastic round ones because they are a lot more comfortable. remember, practice makes perfect!!!

No, you should really ask your mom or sisters. You are obviously young and you dont understand certain things. I know it may seem awkward but remember they are your family and will be able to help you and not judge you.
