(e^4)^x (times) e^x^2 = e^12

e to the fourth power x times e power x squared equals e to the 12 power.

Hello,

Multiply remembering that when we multiply like bases we add the exponents so we have e(4 + x^2) = e^12 now if the bases are equal so are the exponents then 4 + x^2 = 12 then x^2 = 8 and x = =/- 2Sqrt(2)

Both the positive and negative values check.
