Conservatives love to see people get ahead, that's what makes a strong economy and people have more money to spend, unlike the Democratic Liberals that want higher taxes and socialistic programs ran by the Government.

the new US Treasury department study shows that the poorest among us have grown their income by 90% in the last ten years (inflation adjusted so don't even go there). in fact almost every income bracket has seen growth, except for one. those rotten, evil, putrid, sick, filthy, obscene, ugly, nasty, dirty, conniving, mean, disgusting rich people. I call them the top 1% income EARNERS. they declined by almost 26%.

Because their goal is the concentration of wealth, and that is a 'zero sum game'. If you're rich and you want to be super-rich, you realize that you can't get richer if everyone is getting richer, you have to get richer in relationship to everyone else, thus you have to keep them poorer.
