Lisa u need to just be thankful that you have a mom that really does care someday you will look back and say i am so happy she kept on me about my grades when i was younger now i have been accepted to a really good college~~~so many kids have parents that dont care at all u have 1 that really does~~u need me as a parent i am always on my kids butts for there homework and grades but i also reward then for making gr8 grades too~~`all u have to do now in your live is to get good grades that is your job then your rewards will come later and let me tell u its a tough world out here u need to have a good education to make it now days!!!i have raised to sons and there both a true success one lives in a lovely 370 thousand $ home the other has a gr8 job n a nice home 2 also my 8th grader is doing gr8 in school and is making her plans for when she graduates~~so thank ur mom if not now someday u have been blessed

Probably not sweetheart. I know that it does not seem like it when we are complaining at you but we do want what is best for you. It is our job to help you to be the best that you can be. We have to make you a responsible person that can take care of herself. We have to teach you a good work ethic that you will need for the rest of your life. You cannot believe the amount of people that do not have one. We have to teach you how to take pride in your work and how to treat others. "There are just to many things to list that we have to teach you to make your life better. We will not be around forever to take care of you and we just want the peace of mind that you can do anything and everything to take care of yourself. Try to understand where she is coming from. You also might want to go to college. Your grades matter when it comes to getting into college. When you learn early to strive to be the best that you can be you will do so much better in the work force. Your mom is trying to do what she can to make your life easier. I hope that this has made sense.

My parents never ever bothered me about my grades, I have two older sister who they would rage at for their grades. I guess it depends on what kind of grades you get. My sisters...not so good, me...well I'm at a University so pretty well!
